About GroundVex
GroundVex is a U.S. manufacturer of advanced rubber surfacing systems, combining engineering precision with creative design flexibility for playgrounds, athletic facilities, commercial environments, and architectural spaces. Every surface we produce is designed to meet demanding performance standards while giving architects, designers, and builders the freedom to create distinctive spaces.
Our Origin
For decades, the surfacing industry has been divided into two competing priorities.
On one side are designers and specifiers seeking bold colors, custom patterns, and expressive spaces that reflect a project’s identity. On the other are engineers and installers focused on durability, safety, compliance, and long-term performance. Too often, customers are forced to sacrifice one for the other.
GroundVex was founded on the belief that this compromise is unnecessary.
By manufacturing entirely in the United States, we keep design, engineering, and production under one roof. The same team responsible for approving a custom color or pattern is accountable for the manufacturing process behind it. That close collaboration allows ideas to move quickly from concept to production while maintaining complete confidence in their performance.
We’re not driven by the ambition to become the largest surfacing manufacturer in the country. Our goal is simpler — and more meaningful — to be the company where creative vision and proven engineering come together in the same place.

The lifespan of a rubber surface is determined long before installation begins. At GroundVex, manufacturing isn’t treated as a laboratory exercise — it’s a disciplined production process refined through experience, craftsmanship, and continuous quality control. Every batch is evaluated by people who understand what exceptional material looks like long before it reaches testing.
Virgin EPDM Milling
Our virgin EPDM rubber is milled in-house rather than sourced pre-milled through third-party suppliers. This gives us complete control over particle consistency, shape, and color accuracy, ensuring every production run meets our exact standards.
On-Site Binding
Our surfacing systems are bound during installation rather than pre-bonded weeks before shipment. This allows each installation to cure as one continuous surface, delivering superior structural integrity, seamless aesthetics, and long-term performance.
